Crossing the Zambezi for the last time

Eish, this broadcast doesn’t work!

Arriving at Chobe National Park
After the 4 days in Livingstone, the team was a bit slow off the mark to get the camp packed up, but we left in good time under the official ZAWA Escort to the border to cross over into Botswana. The visit to Livingstone was a huge success!
With the help of Steven, the ZAWA (Zambia Wildlife Authority) official, we crossed the border in good time, with all our vehicles getting on the ferry. Thank you ZAWA for making our outreach into Zambia a memorable and very successful one, till the very last moment!!
Our 125 kilometre journey took us to Chobe National Park and upon entering we saw hundreds upon hundreds of elephants! A spectacular sight, especially with the breathtaking sunset as a backdrop!
We all very excited to be here and looking forward to meeting with more students and more rangers:

Hierdie is 'n belewenis wat ons saam met julle elke dag soo geniet! Baie dankie veral vir al die mooi natuur en dierefotos. Lekker om ook vir Willie en Wilna te kon sien! Kan julle nie ook vertel van staaltjies+ insidente wat dit ook lewendiger sal maak nie? Is Chobe so duur soos vertel word? Nogmaals dankie Hennie+H Pieterse
Aangesien ek nie in lewende lywe daar kan wees nie, het ek maar op my "website" 'n advertensie of wat geplaas, wat hopelik darem so 'n bietjie "webtraffic" na julle sal genereer.
Well done Gerhard & team.
Keep up the good work.
