Gerhard Groenewald talking to Cobus Bester of RSG
After another live crossing to the RSG Studio, the team left Gorongosa National Park.
Today was a long drive en route to the South Luangwa National Park in Zambia. We stopped about 1 hour’s drive after Tete, in North West Mozambique, to camp along the road. After permission was gained from the local chief, we pitched our tents and started to make our evening meal.
Just to backtrack a bit, we travelled 580 kilometres, mostly on tarred road, but some stretches had enormous potholes, which slowed the convoy down considerably. Everyone was impressed with the Goodyear Wrangler tyres that handled the poor road conditions extremely well.
Tomorrow we will travel to South Luangwa National Park in Zambia and will stay there for 2 days.
